In order to mask your cell phone number when using the call-back feature in the Page Message, you must do the following:
- Open Telmediq app on your device
- Click the 3-lines in the upper left corner
- Click Settings
- Turn ON the "Block My Number"
- This will only show if VoIP is turned off. We recommend verifying with your organization if Call Blocking is enabled if they require your calls route through VoIP.
*** Ensure Block Caller ID feature is turned Off in your phone's settings: otherwise this conflicts with the Telmediq's Caller ID blocking. In addition, if your organizations dispatch number is blocked then this functionality will not successfully work either.
Now, when you return a call your phone will display either your pager number or your office's main number, depending on how your account was configured.
