How do I set up my Apple Watch with Telmediq? Follow
If you silence notifications, or turn on do not disturb on your Apple Watch you will not receive any audio alerts for messages from Telmediq. You can adjust these settings and the volume of your alert tones by following the instructions posted by Apple here.
If you want to adjust your notification mirroring settings, follow the instructions here. This is where you will be able to toggle on or off receiving Telmediq notifications on your Apple Watch through the Apple Watch Notifications menu:
How notifications behave with Wrist Detection enabled:
Notification behavior will depend on the status of your devices and your settings, by default wrist detection will be enabled.
If your iPhone is locked or asleep and your Apple Watch is unlocked (regardless of whether the watch display is asleep or awake) and on your wrist, you will receive notification alerts on your watch.
If your iPhone is unlocked, then you will receive notification alerts on your iPhone instead of on your Apple Watch.
Alerts only to Apple Watch: With wrist detection enabled, if your iPhone is locked or asleep and your Apple Watch is unlocked (regardless of whether the watch display is asleep or awake) and on your wrist, you will receive notification alerts on your watch.
Alerts only to iPhone: This would require a user to turn off notifications for Telmediq via the Apple Watch device settings. See the above.
Troubleshooting:
-
Not receiving audible alerts on Apple watch:
- Not receiving audible alerts on the Apple watch can be due to having sounds turned off on the watch (leveraging haptics instead) or aDo Not Disturb or Focus Mode is on.
